Whether you are converting your classic or just need a clutch for your late model vehicle, we have your solution.  We offer several types, matched to the power requirements of your engine.  All clutches come with pilot bearing, throw-out bearing and alignment tool.   1 yr warranty!

 

Why Superior Clutch?
Modern Driveline carries a complete line up of clutches and flywheels.  Our supplier, Superior Clutch, handcrafts our clutches.  Each clutch undergoes testing at several stages of its manufacture resulting in very high reliability and performance. 

The Kevlar clutches are nearly 100% Kevlar, unlike competing clutches which say "Kevlar" but are only impregnated with 10-20% Kevlar.  The Kevlar material is long wearing and withstands the abuse of hard driving and high HP.  In mild usage, a Kevlar clutch may be the last clutch you'll ever have to install.

While other companies market to the masses, Modern Driveline and Superior Clutch believe that quality and performance are key to a loyal customer base.

Organic Clutch
The Organic clutch is your basic stock replacement in either 10" or 10.5" and with either a standard pressure plate or "King Cobra" plate.  Economical and well suited to the daily driver or show car.  The "Super King Cobra" features steel backed facings to insure no disc separation common with normal King Cobra clutches under heavy use.

Kevlar®/Organic Clutch
This clutch is a dual friction type with Kevlar®, and Organic surfaces designed for extra grab and high heat from high performance applications.  Available in 10" or 10.5".  Great solution for a track/street car.

Kevlar/Kevlar Clutch
Designed for long life and minimal wear, these clutches are preferred for the high performance, high torque applications.  Also preferable in light weight cars to eliminate chatter.  Available in 10.5".  Best for Hot Rods, Cobra's and other performance applications.

Flywheels

We offer three types of flywheels for most applications:

Cast Steel - economical stock replacement. 
Lightened Billet Steel - with neutral, 28oz or 50oz imbalance. Performance upgrade from stock. 
Aluminum - Comes with neutral, 28oz or 50oz imbalance weights. For race applications where quick acceleration and deceleration in and out of the turns is required. Not recommended for street use.
