“Purchased the Tremec T5 for my 65 Mustang. Modern Driveline thought of everything going from a C4 Automatic to a 5-speed. From the transmission, to the clutch pedal, down to the clip that secures the speedometer gear! It was all-inclusive and was not in need of any forgotten or missing parts. The new T-5 provides a whole new driving experience! In addition to the complete kit that was provided, it’s the intangibles that I got from MD that made the installation easier.
Matthew went out of his way to provide personal photos of his installation (coincidently he had the same car and did a similar changeout), which helped me when I had questions. He searched the web providing a very handy diagram that helped a great deal.

“All I can say is thank you! After our phone conversation, I trimmed the pedal stop adjusted the MC clevis, and magic I had clutch release wheels turn in 4th gear with the clutch pedal pressed.

“Installed this transmission in my 1994 Mustang GT. Went in like butter with all of the stock components, driveshaft, clutch release bearing, clutch, & pilot bearing. MDL also sold me the trans oil and speedo gear I needed to adjust to my 3.73 rear axle gears. The overdrive ratio is a little higher than stock. I am running at about 1,800 rpm at 60 mph compared to 2.200 rpm with the stock trans.
My Mustang is very comfortable at that lower rpm. This new transmission shifts very nicely and smoothly.
MDL did a great job with my order. Had the transmission at my door in less than a week. Can’t wait to get it broken in, so I can make some passed down the drag strip.”
