” I participated, and class won, in the 2019 Peking to Paris Motor Challenge with a 1933 Dodge Roadster. his is the world’s toughest, oldest and longest rally for vintage and classic cars. 36 days to cover 15.000 km across the harshest of terrains. A grueling race where preparation of the car is vital, as there is no technical assistance.

It is here that I sincerely want to thank Paul Coffey, Dane, and Bruce Couture from Modern Driveline.

After numerous discussions (with sometimes a language barrier) they prepared a state of art T5 transmission with the proper gear ratios, a special front shift, and a correct speedo output.

Of course, we had technical problems with the car, like all other competitors. But not one problem with the gearbox.

A big thank you for the extreme and friendly professionalism during the whole process!

Modern Driveline is your one-stop-shop for T5 conversions. No discussion!

Cheers! “
