“I have had a Factory 5 Cobra with a 390 FE motor in which from day one, the clutch appeared to slip because of the high horsepower and clutch configuration issues. Since fuel injecting it has gotten worse. I know the geometry of the clutch is problematic as in the current configuration I have to preload the clutch in order to get the right travel, so I don’t nick gears in between shifts. I talked to Bruce at ‘modern driveline and within minutes Bruce not only knew what the problem he had the solution.
