Remove fill plug (2).<\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">b. Add approved lubricant. (see above) <\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">c. When the transmission is full, the lubricant will just drip out fill the plug opening. <\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">d. Install fill plug and torque to 20 lb-ft (27 Nm).<\/span> &nbsp; <strong>CHANGING LUBRICANT.<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">Proceed as follows<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">a. Wipe drain and fill plugs (1 and 2) and surrounding areas clean.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">b. Place a suitable container under the transmission.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">c. Remove drain plug (1).<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">d. Remove the fill plug (2).<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">e. Allow all lubricant to drain.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">f. Install drain plug (1) and torque to 20 lb-ft (27 Nm).<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">g. Add lubricant Through fill plug opening until lubricant just begins to drip back out of the opening.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">h. Install fill plug and torque to 20 lb-ft (27 Nm).<\/span> &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>Things to remember<\/strong> If you remove your T5 from your vehicle before it comes out please plug the tailshaft bearing seal.
