External Slave Kit for 64-72 CHEVY 3 & 4 Speed Bell Housings using a dimple fork

The ELIMINATOR Series

3 and 4 Speed Manual  1964-1972 Chevy bell housings
This is the solution for converting your old z-bar linkage to external hydraulic release.

Gone are the problems of worn or mis-aligned linkages that drag, causing heavy pedal feel and poor clutch actuation.
Mounting to the 4-speed transmission case the cylinder pushes from the rear of the fork, clearing long tube headers while making it easy to install and service.

When coupled to MDL LF Series master cylinder kits, installing or converting to hydraulic clutch release couldn’t be easier.
Engineered as a system, it takes the guesswork out, while providing maximum results.

This system is an easy installation and works with any clutch, providing your clutch fork geometry is correct of course.
Compact premium private-label cylinder only requires one inch of room forward of the bell housing directly in front of the fork-end.
Complete assembly includes cylinder, bracket, spacers, clamp assembly, fittings, hardware, and instructions.
The kit includes a 24” AN4 braided line and works with any Modern Driveline master cylinder series.

Before You Order Please note:

Your clutch fork must be correct for the bell housing. GM dimple forks CAN be interchanged since the distance from the t/o bearing to the fulcrum pivot is the same.
As noted below, two types of clevis/pin forks can also be interchanged with dimple forks.

Short Dimple Fork, Fulcrum to Dimple: 6.5” (MD-401-3001)

This kit will not work with OEM Chevy II bell (7 o’clock opening)

Long Dimple Fork, Fulcrum to Dimple: 7.0” (MD-401-3000)

Early Clevis Fork, 55-62 (MD-401-3002)

Late Clevis Fork, 64-81 (MD-401-3003)

This kit will not require the disassembly of the vehicle to be installed, providing all existing parts installed are compatible.

You must have a constant-duty, or constant contact, throw-out (t/o) bearing.
Most clutch systems and aftermarket replacement bearings are supplied with constant contact sealed bearings which maintain the grease internally and are non-serviceable.
If you do not currently have a constant-contact t/o bearing, you must switch to one to use this item..

The t/o bearing internal sleeve must not drag on the bearing retainer guide tube.
The drag of the bearing in either direction on the tube indicates bearing sleeve wear, possible galling, or being dry. An inspection and lubrication may be required.

DO NOT VACUUM OR PUMP BLEED THIS SYSTEM. It is not a brake system.
Single-seal push-pull systems will create micro bubbles in the fluid and sometimes harm the seals internally. The preferred method is to pressure bleed from the top down.
Modern Driveline offers a hydraulic clutch system “bleeder kit”. The bleeder kit comes standard in all Modern Driveline master cylinder kits and is also available separately as a purchase item.

This kit will not work with all long-tube headers.
If your vehicle already has long tube headers and unaltered factory mechanical linkage this kit is designed to fit. Modern Driveline offers internal release bearings for assured clearance and function.

This kit has been proven on factory aluminum and Quick Time brand bell housings.
Factory cast iron bells and other bell brands must be altered to clear. Modern Driveline offers internal release bearings for assured clearance and function.
