’66 Mustang TKX info
MDL fitted a New Tremec TKX into a 1966 Mustang just to see what was involved.
What we learned was that the factory tunnel support interferes slightly with the top of the shifter housing.
We suggest you move the tunnel support back about 2-3/4″ to fix this.
We do not suggest cutting it as that may change the integrity of the tunnel support.
