Recent events worldwide, paired with the demands for products that were not available or delayed due to the pandemic ripple effect have caused manufacturers, supply chains, and delivery services to increase their costs.
As we all know fuel prices are up, shipping costs are up, and overall pricing to do business is up.
At MDL we are doing everything we can to maintain competitive pricing as well as passing along our Discounted shipping rates to our customers.

SHIPPING

COVID has created major ripple effect challenges for, manufacturing, and warehousing facilities.
Many are working with reduced staff for health and safety and some facilities are catching up from having to shut down altogether in the last couple years.

More recently, however, we’re seeing warehouses at maximum capacity and manufacturing can’t keep up with demand, which is causing a longer delay for new inventory.

New world events are continuing to change the shape of how business is conducted, MDL is doing its very best to be competitive in the marketplace for you, our customers.

As of 3/25/2022, Modern Driveline will no longer offer freight pick-up organized by the customer as a company, or individual, or third-party shipping company from our location.

Any international order placed with Modern Driveline will be shipped either directly to you by our shipping company or to a freight forwarding company of your choice within the continental US.

Your freight forwarder may offer LTL freight (Canada & Mexico), Air freight, or Sea freight.

International orders sent to a residential address within the US will be treated as a residential order and sales tax may apply.

By law, any freight forwarder must have a legal resale certificate and business license to avoid any sales tax charges. Sales tax is determined by the ‘ship to’ location.

Method of Payment

We accept checks (which must clear the bank before shipment), cashiers checks, money orders, credit cards or PayPal.
Upon receipt of an order we will confirm the order with you.
For your protection we require the shipping address match the billing address of the credit card used.  Your credit card is not charged until time of shipment.

Payment Options and Terms

All orders must be prepaid prior to shipping.

MDL does not conduct any sales COD.

Via prior approval, we will accept checks and money orders, which must be received and cleared by the bank before shipment.

If a customer would like to use a credit card but do not wish to use the MDL secure site, the customer may call, and MDL will process the credit card information over the phone.

Method of Payment Policy

Payment may be made domestically by:

  • check (which must clear the bank before shipment)
  • cashier’s check
  • money order
  • credit card
  • PayPal.

All overseas payments must be made by these two methods only:

  • Credit card
  • wire-transfer

Shipping Information

All shipments are via UPS ground unless requested otherwise.  Cost of shipment, handling and insurance will be added to the total bill.  Our shopping cart estimates the shipping charges.  We reserve the right to change the charged amount when the actual shipping charges differ more than 10% from the estimate.  Estimated shipping charges are US domestic only.  We strive to keep product on the shelves ready for shipment, but often demand depletes stock.  We will let you know by phone or email of the anticipated shipment date, especially if there is a delay.  Keep in mind that UPS can take 7-10 days depending on the distance from Idaho.  We do not ship COD.

Refund/Return Policy

Your satisfaction with our product is guaranteed.  You may return within 90 days of receipt:

  • New item in original packaging and original/unused condition
  • Used core, as long as it is shipped in the box that contained the new product.
  • Any item received in a damaged or defective condition.
  • Any item received in error.

If you need to return an item please call us for a return authorization.

When returning an item please include a copy of the invoice and information concerning the reason for returning the item and if you desire a refund or exchange

All returns must be freight pre-paid.  Please do not return items COD because we cannot accept them.

Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

We will refund shipping charges only if we have sent the wrong item or if the item is defective.

If you are exchanging (restocking fee waved), please let us know what you would like by indicating your preference on the receipt.  We will issue a store credit if you are not ready to purchase.

All credits (except store credit) will be placed on the credit card used for the original purchase.  Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

All returns must be new, unused, undamaged and packed in the original packing material.

When returning, insure the shipment for the value of the item.

Warranty

Modern Driveline Inc. guarantees all MDL products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service.

Should any item be determined to be out of the realm of normal use & or service it may be deemed not to qualify for a Warranty or refund.

The warranty on all MDL items is 1-Year, the only exception to this is a complete package purchase.
In which case the warranty period is extended to 2-Years.

  • The definition of a complete package is: a new Tremec transmission T5, TKX, Magnum, Magnum F, Magnum XL, and TR4050 accompanied in the same purchase by a minimum of $1500.00 of supporting hardware.
  • MDL modified transmissions added value above the price of the transmission is not applicable to the $1500.00 that makes up a complete package.

The warranty period on an MDL rebuild transmission is 1-Year.

Manufacturer authorization may be required before a warranty claim can be completed.

 

Note: The warranty period on Tremec Transmissions and Tremec manufactured products is 1-year as issued by Tremec

  • No longer needed/wanted
  • Bought by mistake
