Description
Swapping to a T56 Magnum XL in your '05-'14 Mustang GT or GT500 demands a driveshaft engineered to handle the transmission's 700 lb-ft torque capacity while delivering the performance benefits that make the upgrade worthwhile. This custom aluminum driveshaft solves the challenge of connecting your new 31-spline output transmission to the factory 8.8" rear end with components built to exceed the demands of serious power.
The 3.5" outside diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tube with 0.125" wall thickness delivers an ideal balance of torsional strength and reduced rotating mass. Aluminum driveshafts typically weigh 8-10 pounds less than comparable steel units - that's meaningful weight reduction right where it matters most. Lower rotating mass translates directly to improved throttle response, quicker acceleration, and reduced drivetrain inertia during hard shifts.
