Q. Will this work with headers? A. If you must use headers, then shorties are best. with at least an inch of minimum clearance in the tightest spaces. We don't recommend using a clutch cable with headers; the heat from them may melt the outer casing and restrict movement of the cable, causing poor engagement/disengagement or fail completely. We suggest an internal throw-out bearing; this solution allows you to run whatever headers you wish. Q. How do I know the clutch cable is adjusted correctly? A.
