    Description

    The Qwik Stik solves the common problem of vague, sloppy shifting in TREMEC T5 and T45 transmissions. This precision-engineered short throw shifter delivers the crisp, mechanical feel that performance builds demand - not the rubbery, disconnected sensation of worn-out stock setups. The close-ratio design reduces throw distance while maintaining proper gate spacing, giving you faster shifts without compromising accuracy or reliability.

    The engineering centers on precision-machined billet aluminum plates that mount directly to the transmission case, eliminating the flex and slop inherent in stamped steel factory designs. Belleville washers create consistent detent force that translates to that satisfying click when each gear engages - especially noticeable in the critical 2-3 shift under power. The compact top turret keeps the overall package small enough to clear restrictive floor openings common in classic Mustang swaps while maintaining proper lever geometry for comfortable, fatigue-free shifting.

    Unlike many shifters that rely on internal stops, the Qwik Stik uses the transmission's own gate stops for shift limitation. This design choice allows easy disassembly for maintenance without fighting internal mechanisms. The included high-temperature oil boot seals the shifter opening while handling the heat cycling of performance applications. The 7/8" on-center mounting pattern on the shifter stub accommodates virtually all aftermarket shift levers, so you can pair it with your preferred lever and knob combination.

    Compatible with TREMEC T5 transmissions equipped with Mustang tail housings and T45 transmissions. This shifter will not fit Camaro or S-10 T5 applications. Available in 2.95" or 3.45" backward stub offset to position the shifter in the factory location for your application. Made in the USA.
