      Q. Why can't I use my factory tunnel? A. A Tremec T56 6-speed transmission is simply too big to fit into an OE tunnel, never mind headers, etc. This is the simplest way to accommodate a 6-speed in your car remember it was never designed to have a 6 speed it it when it wass new.
