Description
Swapping a TREMEC TKO into your '82-'92 Camaro or Firebird is a major performance upgrade, but getting the shifter in the right spot is a notorious headache. The Qwik Stik solves this problem with a precision-machined billet aluminum assembly that bolts directly to the TKO500 or TKO600 tailhousing and puts the shift lever exactly where your factory console expects it—no guesswork, no fabrication, no headaches.
The engineering makes the difference here. Belleville washers create excellent detent tension, delivering that crisp, mechanical feel every gearhead wants—especially through the 2-3 transition where vague shifters fall apart. Unlike shifters with hard mechanical stops that can break or wear out, the Belleville spring design provides consistent feedback and allows quick access to internal components when service is needed. The anodized finish resists corrosion and ensures long-term durability even in high-heat environments.
The 1.625" or 2.15" backward stub offset positions the lever in the factory location, while the standard 7/8-inch on-center mounting pattern accepts most aftermarket shift levers. Just attach your lever, boot, and shift knob and you're done. A high-temperature dust oil boot is included to seal out debris and contain fluid. Designed and manufactured 100% in the USA.
