World Class T5s differ from earlier non-World Class versions in critical ways: they use needle bearings instead of bushings and fiber-lined synchronizer rings instead of all-brass units. This kit is specifically designed for those WC-specific components, ensuring proper engagement and smooth shifts across all five gears. The kit addresses the most common T5 failure points—worn synchro rings that cause grinding, tired seals that leak fluid, and fatigued bearings that create gear noise.
This rebuild kit does not include hard parts such as gears, shift forks, or shafts—it focuses on the wear items that typically fail during normal use.
