The ceramic bronze friction surface contains iron particles that actually increase grip as temperatures rise, making this clutch ideal for street-drag launches, road racing quick shifts, and high-horsepower applications where a larger diameter disc isn't feasible. Ceramic metallic surfaces have a higher coefficient of friction than organic or Kevlar materials alone, so they bite harder and hold more power given the same clamping force from the pressure plate. When you can't fit a larger disc or run a heavier pressure plate, ceramic friction material is the proven path to higher torque capacity.
