The OEM steel driveshaft in your '05-'14 Mustang GT wasn't designed for the 700 lb-ft torque capacity of the TREMEC T56 Magnum XL - and it's adding unnecessary rotating mass to your drivetrain. This custom aluminum driveshaft solves both problems with a lightweight, professionally balanced solution that matches the performance potential of your transmission upgrade.
Built with 3.5" outside diameter aluminum tubing and .125" wall thickness, this driveshaft delivers the strength needed for high-performance applications while significantly reducing weight compared to steel. The 31-spline Sonnax forged steel yoke connects to your T56 Magnum XL's slip yoke output, while the 113mm manual pinion flange bolts directly to the differential. The 1350 series universal joints - with 1.188" bearing caps and 3.625" span - are a substantial upgrade over smaller 1310 series joints found in many street applications.

The T56 Magnum XL's extended-length tail section eliminates the semi-remote shifter found in factory transmissions, which changes the driveshaft length requirements compared to stock.
