Description
Stock shifter levers rarely put the shift knob where you actually want it. This Lokar lay-back steel shifter lever solves that problem with a 30-degree bend that positions your hand exactly where it needs to be for quick, confident shifts. The 4-inch back offset and 9-inch height put the knob in the optimal ergonomic position without sacrificing mechanical leverage.
Built from tubular steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, this lever delivers the rigidity serious shifting demands while resisting corrosion and looking sharp in any interior. The machined mounting stud features countersunk holes for a clean, smooth appearance that eliminates the exposed fastener look of lesser shifters.
Installation is straightforward bolt-on for any TREMEC or Borg Warner transmission using the standard 2-bolt flange measuring 7/8 inch center to center between bolt holes. That covers T5, T45, T56, TKO-500, TKO-600, and Magnum applications with both stock and aftermarket 5-speed and 6-speed shifter assemblies. The 3/8in-24 thread at the top accepts virtually any aftermarket shift knob, giving you full control over the final look and feel.
All Lokar products are made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty. Shift knob, boot, and trim ring are sold separately.
