Description
Factory clutches wear out. Upgraded engines demand more clamping force. This MDL Superior 10.5" GM clutch kit delivers 375 lb-ft of torque capacity with a hybrid friction material setup engineered for solid power transfer and smooth street manners. The dual-material design places Kevlar facing against the pressure plate for heat resistance and long-term durability, while the steel-backed organic facing rides against the flywheel for progressive engagement and minimal chatter during daily driving.
The 26-spline x 1-1/8" clutch disk is designed for GM applications running transmissions with that input shaft configuration, including factory Muncie and Saginaw four-speeds, as well as modern TREMEC TKO, TKX, and T-56 Magnum swaps. The 10.5" diaphragm pressure plate uses the standard 11-5/8" GM bolt pattern, making this a direct-fit upgrade for classic Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac applications. The sprung hub absorbs drivetrain shock for smoother engagement and longer clutch life.
Every Superior clutch disk is hand-assembled at MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility. Each assembly is checked and double-checked for quality, exacting tolerances, and flawless operation before it goes in the box. You receive a ready-to-install premium piece backed by a 1-year free-from-defect warranty.
