    Description

    Upgrading a classic GM to a modern TREMEC 5-speed or 6-speed demands a clutch that matches the transmission's 26-spline input shaft while maintaining street-friendly engagement characteristics. The MDL Superior 10.5" Organic Clutch Set solves this problem with a purpose-built assembly designed specifically for hydraulic actuation systems and 26-spline TREMEC applications.

    The diaphragm pressure plate features the 11-5/8" bolt circle that matches period-correct GM flywheels, delivering consistent clamping force without the aggressive pedal feel of lever-style pressure plates. Organic friction facings on both sides of the clutch disk provide smooth, chatter-free engagement that's ideal for daily drivers and street performance builds up to 250 lb-ft of torque. The sprung hub design absorbs drivetrain shock and reduces gear rattle at idle.

    Every MDL Superior clutch is hand-assembled in-house and undergoes dual quality inspections before leaving the shop. This process ensures proper balance, correct friction material alignment, and flawless operation straight from the box. The kit includes both Chevy and BOP pilot bushings, covering small-block Chevy, big-block Chevy, and Buick-Olds-Pontiac applications with a single part number.

    Designed for use with internal and external hydraulic slave cylinder systems commonly found in TREMEC transmission conversions. No throwout bearing is included - select the appropriate bearing for your bellhousing and slave cylinder configuration. Made in the USA and backed by a comprehensive 1-year free-from-defect warranty.
