Description
When your Ford small block needs to hold more power without sacrificing streetability, the MDL Superior Kevlar clutch set delivers proven performance where it counts. Rated at 450 ft-lbs of torque capacity, this complete kit is engineered for Ford 302, 351, and 400M engines running the 11" long pattern bolt configuration - the classic Ford performance setup with 3-3/8" bolt spacing that uses 5/16"-18 pressure plate bolts.
The Kevlar/Kevlar disc construction is what sets this clutch apart from organic alternatives. Both friction surfaces use Kevlar material, which provides aggressive bite characteristics and dramatically improved heat resistance - critical for autocross, road racing, and spirited street driving where repeated high-load engagements would fade an organic disc. The sprung hub design dampens drivetrain vibration while the 26 x 1-1/8" spline pattern matches TREMEC TKO, TKX, and other modern 5-speed transmissions.
