Purpose-built for GM LS engines mating to LS T56 transmissions, this clutch bridges the gap between streetable engagement and performance holding power using MDL's proven dual-facing technology.
The engineering starts with the disc's dual-surface design. The flywheel side features Kevlar facing material that provides smooth, chatter-free engagement for comfortable daily driving, while the pressure plate side uses metal facing for aggressive grip under hard acceleration. This combination gives you the civilized pedal feel of a stock clutch with the holding power needed for 650 lb-ft of torque. The sprung hub further enhances drivability by absorbing torsional shock loads that would otherwise stress transmission synchronizers and driveline components.
The diaphragm-style pressure plate maintains consistent clamping force across the full disc surface, and the LS bolt pattern ensures proper alignment with factory and aftermarket flywheels.
