    Description

    On most Mustangs, the factory shifter lever is long gone - swapped out for an aftermarket unit that often creates an awkward shifting position due to shortened levers. This OEM-style reproduction shifter lever restores the comfortable, positive shifting feel your Mustang was designed to deliver. Whether you are restoring your Mustang to original condition or replacing a damaged lever, this factory-spec replacement gets the job done right.

    Constructed from durable, heavy-duty steel to the factory length and bends, this shift lever features the correct M12x1.75 thread pitch for compatibility with both factory shift knobs and most aftermarket knobs. A satin black e-coat finish mimics the original black-painted shift lever while providing superior rust resistance for long-term durability.

    The clamshell design with preinstalled rubber isolators and sleeves exactly replicates the original equipment. These rubber isolators on the handle and clamshell reduce driveline vibration felt through the shift lever while driving - a detail often overlooked on cheap replacements. A rubber shift boot support holds your shift boot up to the bottom of the knob, ensuring there are no unsightly gaps in your interior.

    Mounting hole spacing is 7/8" on center. Installation can be performed with common hand tools using the supplied silver zinc-plated shifter bolts. Note: Mounting bushings are sold separately and required for installation - use MD-320-1043-B-3/8 for TKO applications or MD-320-1043-B-8mm for T5 applications. This shifter lever does not fit TREMEC-supplied TKX or T56 Magnum shifters.
