The Rally Series shift ball delivers classic motorsport styling with graphics that will never let you down. Unlike surface-printed knobs that wear through after a few thousand shifts, this ball features subsurface white rally stripes that run through the complete 5-speed pattern. The graphics are embedded within the material itself, making them completely impervious to wear, heat, UV exposure, and the oils from your hands.
Construction is high-impact polymer resin specifically formulated for the automotive industry. This isn't generic plastic that develops stress cracks with age and thermal cycling - it's an engineered material designed to handle the torque loads and temperature swings of performance driving while maintaining its structural integrity and high-gloss finish for years. The 16mm x 1.50 brass master insert accepts thread reducers (sold separately), allowing installation on virtually any shift lever regardless of thread pitch. The brass insert is engineered to exceed automotive industry standards with testing to 200 ft. lbs. static pull and 20 ft. lbs. twist torque - far beyond what any shift throw could generate. At just 4 ounces, the ball provides enough mass for a quality feel without excessive momentum that can cause overshoot on quick shifts.
