The construction isn't generic plastic. This knob is made from specially formulated high-impact polymer resin specifically designed to meet performance-level torque and temperature requirements. Where cheap knobs crack under UV exposure and temperature cycling, this formulation stays solid season after season. The red racing stripes are subsurface--embedded during manufacturing rather than painted or printed on top--so they physically cannot chip, fade, or wear off no matter how many shifts you bang through.
The 16mm x 1.50 brass master insert provides solid, rattle-free engagement with your shifter, and the included jam nut locks everything tight. At 4 ounces, this knob adds just enough mass for positive, confident shifts without the excessive weight that can stress shifter mechanisms over time. The 2-1/8" diameter provides excellent grip while maintaining classic proportions.
Direct fitment for 2011-2017 Mustang V6, 2015-2022 Mustang EcoBoost, 2011-2022 Mustang GT, 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302, 2014-2019 Fiesta ST, 2013-2018 Focus ST, and 2016-2018 Focus RS. Not compatible with 2011-2014 Shelby GT500s or 2015-2020 Shelby GT350/GT350R Mustangs due to different thread requirements (GT500 uses 10mm x 1.25). Thread adapters are available for other applications--contact us with your shifter's thread size. Made in the USA.
