    Description

    Swapping a TREMEC TKO500 or TKO600 into a '55-'58 Bel Air, 150, 210, or Biscayne often means the stock TKO shifter lands nowhere near where the factory hole sits. The Qwik Stik solves that problem with application-specific offset geometry - 2" left and either 2.6" or 3.45" forward - that brings your shift lever up through the original tunnel opening. No cutting, no guesswork, no compromises.

    Precision-machined from billet aluminum, the Qwik Stik sheds weight while delivering the kind of short-throw, close-ratio feel that transforms every shift into a mechanical event. The Belleville washer detent system is the key to that crisp, confidence-inspiring engagement - especially through the critical 2-3 gate where sloppy factory shifters tend to miss. Unlike conventional designs that rely on internal stops (which eventually break and require replacement), the Qwik Stik's stop-free architecture means one less failure point and easier servicing when maintenance is required.

    The shifter stub features 7/8" on-center mounting holes, which accommodates virtually all aftermarket shift levers. A high-temperature lower dust boot seals the assembly from road debris and fluid contamination. The rear shifter position with front socket orientation is engineered specifically for these Tri-Five platforms, bolt directly to the TKO top cover and take all the complexity out of shifter placement.

    Q. Why do I need a different shifter? A. The MDL Qwik Stik has a smaller top turret to clear the tunnel shifter opening. It is a short-throw shifter with lightning quick response, it is anodized for long life and has no stops to break or replace, as well as many other features over the stock shifter.
