The MDL Qwik Stik solves this problem by positioning your shifter exactly where it belongs—in the factory location without tunnel modifications or custom fabrication. This precision-engineered shifter is specifically designed for TREMEC TKO500/600 transmissions, delivering the short-throw response that modern drivetrains demand while maintaining the classic interior appearance your build deserves.
These precision-machined billet aluminum plates mount directly to your transmission, eliminating all the guesswork in shifter placement. The Qwik Stik's unique 2" left, .65" or 1.15" backward offset brings the shifter into proper position for '59–'64 Impala and '68–'72 GTO/LeMans/Olds applications. Belleville washers create the detent force that delivers crisp, positive gear engagement—especially critical for smooth 2-3 upshifts under power.
