Engineering details matter here: a molded-in brass thread insert ensures the 3/8"-16 threads won't strip or wear over time. Important fitment note—this knob requires a shifter or shift handle with 3/8"-16 threading. It will not fit stock shifters found in 2007-2010 Mustangs. You must have a Hurst shifter or compatible aftermarket handle that accepts this thread pattern.
