Description
Converting your '63-'64 Impala, Caprice, or Bel Air from automatic to manual transmission starts with proper pedals that integrate seamlessly with your factory firewall. This OEM replacement clutch and brake pedal set is designed to work with your existing pedal support bracket - whether your car came with an automatic or manual transmission - eliminating the need for firewall modifications or aftermarket mounting solutions.
Each pedal is laser-cut from quality steel and features CNC bends engineered for precise fitment and proper pedal geometry. The forward master cylinder mount position maintains the stock firewall configuration, allowing you to use standard GM-style master cylinders without fabrication. This design keeps the pedal feel and travel consistent with factory specs while supporting modern hydraulic clutch conversion systems.
This is a pedal-only kit - springs and nylon bushings are not included and must be sourced separately. For a complete OEM appearance, pair with pedal pad kit MD-411-2016, which includes stainless steel trim rings for that factory-correct finish. See MDL's full line of supporting components including hydraulic clutch systems, bellhousings, and TREMEC transmissions to complete your manual transmission conversion.
