Description

The factory C2 Corvette crossmember was designed for 1960s manual transmissions - not modern TREMEC 5-speeds. Swapping to a TKO or TKX means solving the mounting geometry problem, and this crossmember does exactly that. Engineered for '63-'67 Corvettes with small block or big block engines in the factory mounting location, it positions your TREMEC transmission properly while using your original frame attachment points.

Installation is straightforward: the crossmember bolts directly to your existing frame mounts with no fabrication required. If your engine has been set back from the stock position, modifications may be necessary for proper alignment - but for factory-location powerplants, this is a true bolt-in solution. The crossmember is compatible with the full range of GM-pattern TREMEC 5-speeds including the TKO500, TKO600, and the newer TKX (part numbers 17805, 17722, and 18083).

The included Energy Suspension polyurethane mount replaces the weak link that rubber mounts create in a performance drivetrain. Hyper-Flex polyurethane is more durable than rubber, handles higher horsepower applications, and resists degradation from oil, coolant, and road contaminants - all while still absorbing enough vibration for comfortable street driving.
