Description

This complete clutch linkage kit eliminates the parts-chasing headache by delivering everything you need in one box, from the clutch pedal connection all the way to the fork adjustment rod.
The big block-specific Z-bar is the heart of this system. Unlike small block Z-bars, this bellcrank is shaped for proper clearance around 396, 427, and 454 engines. It mounts between the engine and frame via ball studs at each end, allowing the smooth rotational movement essential for consistent clutch engagement. The firewall rod connects the pedal to the Z-bar, passing through a boot and retainer assembly that seals the passenger compartment while allowing unrestricted rod travel.
From the Z-bar, the adjustment rod kit extends to the clutch fork, giving you the adjustability needed to dial in proper pedal free-play and clutch engagement. The included return spring provides correct pedal feel and ensures positive clutch release. Three-piece clip kits secure all rod connections, and the cross shaft kit maintains smooth pivot action at critical linkage joints.
