    Description

    Converting your '65-'68 Mustang inline-six to a TREMEC T5 5-speed delivers modern overdrive cruising and improved fuel economy, but it also requires a driveshaft engineered specifically for the swap. Factory driveshafts don't work - the spline count is wrong, the length is different, and the U-joint size may not match your application. This custom steel driveshaft solves the connection between your new T5 and your existing rear axle, eliminating guesswork and fitment headaches.

    Built with 3.0" steel tubing, this driveshaft features a 28-spline forged steel slip yoke that mates directly to the T5's output shaft. The 1100 series U-joints with 1" bearing caps provide the right balance of strength and compact size for 6-cylinder applications - properly matched to the power output rather than over-spec'd with heavier joints that add unnecessary rotating mass. Every driveshaft is professionally balanced to eliminate vibration throughout the RPM range.

    Because every T5 conversion is slightly different depending on transmission mounting position, crossmember placement, and pinion angle, this driveshaft is custom-built to your vehicle's specific measurements.
