    Description

    Worn clutch linkage on first-gen Camaros and early Novas creates sloppy pedal feel, inconsistent engagement, and eventually complete clutch failure. Original pivot points wear out, clips go missing, rubber components deteriorate, and the whole system develops slop that makes smooth shifting impossible. This complete kit replaces every component in the mechanical clutch linkage path - from the firewall to the clutch fork - restoring factory clutch operation.

    The heart of the system is a heat-treated bellcrank assembly (Z-bar) with an integrated pivot kit and zerk fitting. Heat treatment is critical here because the bellcrank is the leverage point where all pedal force transfers to the clutch fork - a soft or improperly treated Z-bar will bend or break under load. The installed grease fitting allows periodic lubrication to keep the pivot smooth and extend service life.

    Every component in this kit features correct protective finishes matching original specifications. The adjustable lower push rod allows precise tuning of clutch engagement point and pedal free play. The kit includes both upper and lower push rods, frame-side and block-side mounting hardware, protective rubber boots, return spring, and all necessary clips. Two bellcrank felts are included - one for installation and a spare for future service.
