Description
Converting a '68-'70 B-body from automatic to manual transmission means more than just swapping the trans and clutch - you need a complete pedal assembly that bolts in cleanly and operates reliably for years. This OEM-replacement pedal set features a removable pivot shaft that makes under-dash installation far easier than wrestling with a fixed-shaft design. The assembly uses caged needle bearings at the pivot points for smooth pedal action and long service life, while dust seals keep dirt and debris from contaminating the bearing surfaces.

The black powder coat finish resists corrosion and complements any interior. This is a bolt-style cross-shaft design that works only with cars originally equipped with a bolt-style pedal hanger - it will not fit vehicles with the pin-style hanger and clip arrangement. When converting from automatic, the stock pedal support is retained.
The kit includes everything you need for a complete installation: clutch pedal assembly, brake pedal assembly, nylon bushings, pedal pivot shaft with lock-nut, clutch pedal up-stop bumper, clutch pedal support bracket, firewall stud plate with mounting nuts, and 1970-72 style pedal pads. An optional over-center spring and pin (sold separately) is not required when using a modern diaphragm-style (18-finger) pressure plate but is recommended if you are running an original equipment-style three-finger Borg and Beck pressure plate.
