The engineering centers on a 0.750-inch bore, long-stroke master cylinder paired with an innovative pedal linkage that uses the factory full swing of the pedal for maximum leverage. The result is light pedal effort and full control of the clutch -- a drive you will actually enjoy. Unlike generic master cylinders that bolt directly to the pedal with a short stroke and heavy pressure, the LF Series matches pedal travel to cylinder stroke for proper fluid volume without overloading the firewall or your left leg.
Installation stays straightforward because the kit uses the stock clutch rod hole, requiring very little change to the car. The master cylinder mounts on a firewall plate that goes under the brake master cylinder or booster where the firewall is strongest, eliminating flex and providing a solid, consistent pedal feel. The remote plastic reservoir mounts cleanly on the firewall with no clamps that can leak over time.
