      Q. Does the bearing slide in over an under the lever springs and do grease the inside of the collar? A. Unlike the mechanical linkage T/O bearing the cable fork springs slide inside the bearing collar. It does not matter if the bump out faced towards the fork or away. Apply grease to the inside of the collar only to allow it to slide easily on the transmission guide tube.
