Description
When you swap to a high-performance transmission or build serious horsepower, your stock steel driveshaft becomes a weak link. The factory shaft adds unnecessary rotating mass, and at higher power levels it can flex, whip, or fail outright. This custom aluminum driveshaft solves both problems: it reduces rotating weight significantly compared to steel while providing the structural integrity needed for applications up to 600 horsepower.
The 3.5" outside diameter aluminum tube is manufactured from 6061-T6 D.O.M. (drawn over mandrel) aluminum for consistent wall thickness and strength. The forged steel 27-spline slip yoke ensures a secure, precise fit to common transmission output shafts while handling the torque demands of performance builds. 1350 series U-joints are standard equipment, delivering substantially more torque handling capability than 1310 joints and giving you the durability needed when you lay into the throttle.
Every driveshaft is high-speed balanced to eliminate vibration, whether you are cruising on the highway or pushing through the RPM range on the track. While aluminum driveshafts excel in racing applications, they are equally suited for daily-driven street vehicles where reduced rotating mass improves throttle response and drivetrain efficiency. Lengths are available up to 58 inches center-to-center.
