    Factory steel driveshafts in '79-'93 Mustangs are heavy, prone to vibration, and susceptible to rust - problems that become more pronounced when you're building a performance Fox Body. That extra weight makes your engine work harder to rotate the driveshaft, while corrosion issues can compromise structural integrity over time, especially in regions with harsh winters or high humidity.

    This custom aluminum driveshaft eliminates those problems through precision engineering. Aluminum is significantly lighter than steel, reducing rotational mass and improving throttle response and acceleration. The larger 3.5-inch diameter tube provides excellent rigidity while the thicker-wall aluminum construction maintains stability without the weight penalty of steel. Professional high-speed balancing ensures smooth operation at all RPM ranges - something that's often lacking in budget driveshaft offerings or worn OEM units.

    The 28-spline forged steel slip yoke provides a bulletproof connection to T5 and AOD transmissions, while the 8.8-inch flange bolts directly to Fox Body 8.8-inch rear differentials without modification. 1310 series U-joints are the standard size for most factory driveline applications and provide the right balance of strength and serviceability for street-driven Mustangs.
