This premium-quality 5W-30 synthetic lubricant is designed to surpass the most demanding lubrication requirements of manual transmissions where non-extreme-pressure fluids are used. It protects gears and bearings across an extreme temperature range from -40 degrees F to 300 degrees F, delivering performance that conventional mineral oils simply cannot match.
Unlike mineral oil counterparts, this synthetic formulation prevents the thinning effects of mechanical shear for stable viscosity, superior film strength, and excellent anti-wear performance. It protects against corrosion, keeps seals soft for long service life, and is compatible with brass synchros -- critical for maintaining the crisp, precise shifts your transmission was designed to deliver. The additive technology provides proper friction characteristics that outperform engine oils in manual transmission applications.
This synthetic formulation is a higher quality, lower-cost replacement for multiple vehicle manufacturer-branded products, meeting GM specifications 9985648, 9986105, and 9985535, as well as Chrysler MS-9224 and MS-9417. While acceptable for use in all climates, this oil is especially well-suited to summer-like conditions. Developed first and foremost with street performance in mind, it is also capable of supporting severe-duty use in competition applications.
Suitable for manual transmissions and transaxles including New Venture NV T350, NV 1500, NV 2550, NV 3500, NV 3550, NV 5600, and TREMEC TKO, TKO-500, TKO-600, and TR-3550. Not for use in engines, hypoid rear axles, limited-slip, or wet-clutch applications.
