Designed for TREMEC transmissions and other gearboxes with 28-spline output shafts, this shaft bridges the gap between your new trans and your existing rear end with the strength your drivetrain demands.
The foundation is a 3" diameter DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tube. Unlike standard electric-welded tubing, DOM tube is cold-drawn through a precision mandrel, resulting in tighter tolerances, superior concentricity, and consistent wall thickness. This translates to a shaft that's stronger, straighter, and easier to balance--meaning less correction weight and smoother operation at high RPM. At the transmission end, a billet steel 1310 yoke provides the strength and precision machining that cast yokes simply can't match.
Every driveshaft is professionally balanced and finished with a durable black paint coating for long-term corrosion protection. The 1310 U-joint series is a proven platform for street and street/strip applications, offering the right balance of strength and joint angle capability for most muscle car and truck tunnel clearances. This is a custom-manufactured item requiring vehicle-specific measurements taken after your transmission is installed.
