This custom steel driveshaft solves all three problems in one professionally built assembly designed specifically for 1979-1993 Mustangs running T56 Magnum transmissions with Ford 8.8 large flange rear ends.
The 31-spline forged slip yoke slides directly onto the T56 Magnum's output shaft with zero adapters required. At the rear, the companion flange bolts to Ford 8.8 differentials equipped with the large 4.25" bolt circle pinion flange - the same pattern found on full-size Ford cars, light trucks, and Cobra Mustangs. The 3.5" steel tube provides the rigidity needed for clean power transfer, and every shaft is high-speed balanced to eliminate vibration that can plague custom driveshafts.
