Description
This Superior clutch set delivers the ideal balance between holding power and street driveability for Ford applications using the 10.4" metric bolt pattern. The hybrid facing configuration puts Kevlar on the flywheel side for increased grip and heat resistance, while the organic facing on the pressure plate side ensures smooth, progressive engagement without the chatter associated with aggressive racing clutches. This combination makes the clutch ideal for Performance Street Plus applications where you need 300 lb-ft torque capacity without sacrificing daily-driver manners.
The engineering behind this facing combination is deliberate. Kevlar provides approximately twice the service life of standard organic materials while maintaining excellent heat dissipation characteristics. Pairing it with organic on the opposite side moderates engagement behavior, giving you confidence at stoplights and in parking lots while still delivering when you need to put the power down. The sprung hub design further smooths engagement and absorbs drivetrain shock.
