    Description

    When you need serious holding power but can't fit a larger diameter clutch, this hybrid Kevlar/ceramic 10.4" assembly delivers maximum torque capacity within the metric pattern constraint. The dual-facing engineering solves a critical problem: the Kevlar flywheel-side facing provides smooth initial engagement and streetable pedal feel, while the ceramic pressure plate-side facing ramps up the coefficient of friction for aggressive bite when you need it most.

    This isn't your typical street clutch. The ceramic facing contains iron particles that actually increase friction as temperatures climb, making it ideal for drag racing launches, road racing abuse, and high-performance street applications where you're pushing serious power through a compact clutch package. The three attributes that determine clutch torque capacity are surface area, coefficient of friction, and clamping force. When disk diameter is limited, the Kevlar/ceramic combination delivers higher holding power by maximizing that coefficient of friction without sacrificing all-day drivability.

    Designed specifically for 1986-1995 Ford applications, this assembly works with 26-spline transmissions including TREMEC TKO, TKX, and other performance upgrades requiring the larger spline count. The 10.4" metric bolt pattern uses 8mm pressure plate bolts and includes three alignment dowel pin holes for precise fitment to your flywheel.

    Every Superior clutch disk is hand-assembled at MDL's facility using double-riveted construction and gets checked twice for accuracy before it goes in the box. The diaphragm pressure plate delivers consistent clamping force while the sprung hub design maintains driveability.
