Designed specifically for Ford Big Block applications with the 12-3/8" equidistant flywheel bolt pattern, this clutch kit mates perfectly with 26-spline transmissions like the TREMEC TKX, TKO, T56 Magnum, and other popular 5- and 6-speed swaps using hydraulic release systems.
All Superior clutch discs are hand-built in-house so MDL can ensure quality, exacting tolerances, and flawless operation--every component is checked and double-checked for accuracy before it goes in the box. The organic friction material on both sides of the disc provides smooth engagement and excellent pedal feel for street driving, while the sprung hub design dampens drivetrain shock for component longevity and quiet operation. With a 300 ft-lb torque capacity, this clutch is purpose-built for street and cruising applications where smooth engagement matters more than race-level clamping force.
The diaphragm pressure plate design delivers consistent clamping force throughout the disc's service life while providing a lighter, more predictable pedal feel compared to lever-style units. This clutch uses 3/8" pressure plate bolts (not included) and is designed for hydraulic release systems--no mechanical linkage compatibility.
