Description
When you need serious holding power but can't step up to a larger clutch diameter, the Kevlar/Ceramic facing combination delivers. Ceramics have a higher coefficient of friction than organic materials, which means harder bite and more holding capacity for a given clamping force. The ceramic side also contains iron particles that actually increase friction as temperature rises—so the clutch gets stronger under heat and abuse, exactly when you need it most.
This Superior clutch set is designed for Ford small blocks (302, 351, 400M) using the 11" long bolt pattern—the classic three-bolt configuration with 3-3/8" spacing and 5/16"-18 pressure plate bolts. The 12-3/8" diaphragm pressure plate provides smooth, progressive engagement without the heavy pedal effort of a Long-style setup, making it streetable while still delivering serious clamp load for spirited driving and weekend drag duty.
The 26 x 1-1/8" splined hub matches Ford small block applications with the standard input shaft, and the sprung hub design dampens drivetrain shock for smoother engagement. Mechanical actuation works with both cable and traditional mechanical release systems, giving you flexibility across a wide range of classic Ford builds.
