      What This Item Does.

      Converts post 1965 Ford transmission Wide pattern to Front shift Ford 83-93 T-5 transmissions with no transmission rotation to leave the crossmember mount flat. Does not work with 94-04 T-5 with longer input shaft or S-10 with this transmission bolt pattern.

      Details:

      T5 mounting bolt pattern has been clocked 'straight-up' for the Front shift T-5 tail shaft housing, leaving the transmission mount flat. If you need an adapter with a T5 bolt pattern that has been clocked '5 degrees CCW'..........For Stock Ford T5 with NO CCW rotation, see item # MD-401-1202.

      Special Notes

      The adapter is also used with 1967 and later 200ci inline-6 bell housings. - Two new mounting holes are required.

      Q. Why would I need a T-5 adapter plate with no rotation? A. When installing a Ford T-5, the standard Mustang T-5 trailshaft housing causes the counter clockwise rotation to the case. When using a front shift trail shaft housing or S-10 housing, the main case bolt pattern is brought to zero rotation.
