Looking to install a 3550/TKO/TKX to a post 1965 wide pattern Ford bellhousing without shorting the input shaft? This spacer plate slide in between the bellhousing and the transmission. Spacer plate registers to the bellhousing centerin the transmissio to the center. Longer mount bolts pass through the transmission case and spacer to sercure the transmission.

Special Notes
Note: Not to be used with deeper truck bellhousing.If using deeper TRUCK Bellhousing you will require a different input shaft. If you're not sure which bellhousing you have, measure from the large flat surface face of the bell that meets the engine to the inside flat face of where it mates with the transmission. The dimension will indicate which bell you have, 'car', or 'truck'.
