Constructed from high-gloss, high-strength polymer resin, this shift ball features an engraved 5-speed shift pattern (reverse lower right) that's permanently inlaid - the graphics are subsurface and cannot wear off from repeated use. The molded-in brass thread insert ensures the threads won't strip under hard shifting forces, while the 1-7/8in. diameter provides the perfect grip size for precise gear changes.
The 16mm x 1.50 master thread makes this shift ball universally compatible when paired with Modern Driveline's thread reducing inserts. Whether you're running a Mustang T5, GM transmission, or aftermarket shifter with different thread specs, the appropriate MD-313 series reducer (sold separately) allows this classic shift ball to mount securely on virtually any manual shifter.
