      Why MDL?

      MDL's clutch cable is not 'just some fox body cable', but one specifically designed for the early 61-66 Ford F-Series.

      Why does this kit stand above others?

      This will fit ahead of the exhaust that then follows the oil pan flange.The cable housing is kept in place with mounting hardware.

      Special Notes

      This kit works with Pull style clutch forks only This kit does not work with any bell housing that does not have a cable mounting provision and is at least 7" deep. It will not work with a push-style clutch fork

      Q. Will this work with headers? A. If you must use headers, then shorties are best. with at least an inch of minimum clearance in the tightest spaces. We don't recommend using a clutch cable with headers; the heat from them may melt the outer casing and restrict movement of the cable, causing poor engagement/disengagement or fail completely. We suggest an internal throw-out bearing; this solution allows you to run whatever headers you wish.
