    Description

    Mechanical clutch linkages introduce flex, binding, and constant adjustment headaches into your drivetrain. This Generic Hydraulic Clutch Master Kit converts your clutch actuation to smooth, self-adjusting hydraulic operation using a 0.700-inch bore Wilwood master cylinder with integral reservoir. The compact integral reservoir design consolidates components, eliminating the need for remote reservoir mounting and reducing potential leak points in the system.

    The single-angle mounting block positions the master cylinder in the engine compartment without complex reduction linkage, simplifying installation while maintaining proper pedal geometry. This universal kit uses the stock clutch rod opening and requires no modifications to your clutch pedal - only 3 small mounting holes need to be drilled for complete installation. The result is full pedal stroke with consistent, predictable clutch feel every time.

    Every MDL hydraulic kit is hand-assembled in-house to control quality and tolerances. Each unit is tested and double-checked for fit and finish before shipping. The included 1-man bleeder kit makes initial setup and future maintenance straightforward - no helper needed to pump the pedal while you work the bleeder valve.

    Note: Clearance with your brake booster may require verification depending on booster profile and mounting distance from the firewall. This system uses DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid. Made in the USA with lifetime technical support from MDL.

    Q. Why won't my transmission go into gear? A. Check your 'Master Cylinder throw distance, it should be 1.4". You may have to adjust your clutch pedal height in the vehicle. Q. Why is my pedal bottoming out ? A. Adjust your clevis and your pedal, balance the amount of adjustment you need between the two until your pedal does not bottom out anymore. Q. My pedal feels spongy and the slave cylinder does move right away. A. You have air trapped in the system, re-bleed the system again, follow the bleed instructions, or see the video on bleeding hydraulics on this page under the Video Tab Q. What type of fluid do I use in my clutch hydraulics? A. DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid only in this application. There is no need for high temp brake fluid. Q. Will this kit work a stock clutch pedal? A. Yes, it will fit an original factory pedal and an OE reproduction aftermarket pedal.
