MDL Lf Series 61-66 Ford F-series Hydraulic Clutch Master Kit |.700 Bore | Integral Reservoir.

Whether you are converting your 1961-1966 Ford F-Series to a manual transmission or just wanting to upgrade your current factory clutch actuation, the MDL LF Series Master Cylinder Kit is a great solution to add modern clutch technology to your classic! The MDL LF Series Hydraulic Clutch Master features a revolutionary design for retrofitting hydraulics into your classic truck and features an innovative pedal linkage that matches pedal travel with a long-stroke master cylinder for a reduced clutch pedal load. The common approach was to use a 3/4 or 7/8-inch bore by 1-inch stroke master cylinder connected to the pedal directly resulting in improper pedal pressure. Also, the mounting of the cylinder needed to be raised higher than the stock clutch rod linkage hole causing interference issues on the firewall and pedal assembly. Due to the short stroke, this ultimately results in a heavy pedal pressure. Our revolutionary linkage allows for great design flexibility and greatly improved driver's experience. The integral reservoir keeps your firewall clean and makes installation a breeze. The.700 bore and 1.4 stroke generates enough fluid volume to support most aftermarket external or internal slave systems. Each kit comes complete with everything you need to install including our unique One-Man-Bleeder Kit and comprehensive instructions. If you are looking to elevate the performance of your classic truck, look no further than the Modern Driveline LF Series Clutch Master Cylinder Kit.

      Important Note.

      • This kit relies on the factory components to be in good working order, any modifications or damage to the firewall, pedal, or pedal hanger will affect master cylinder performance.
